TAUHARA GEOTHERMAL POWERSTAION
Location: Tauhara, Taupo
E and J Contractors have worked closely with Naylor Love & Contact energy to design and install several services to the new geothermal PowerStation. These works encompass Fire mains, Potable & Raw water mains - Sanitary Sewer, Stormwater & Oily water Systems.
NEIL GROUP SUBDIVISION
Location: Richmond Heights, Taupo
E and J Contractors worked in collaboration with 'Advance Civil Ltd' to install services to this 54 Lot Subdivision. E and J Contractors carried out all installations of Sewer, Water and several sections of the Stormwater over two stages.
EASTERN URBAN LAND DEVLOPMENTS - STAGES 1, 2 & 3
Location: Lake Terrace, Rainbow Point, Taupo
On this project, E and J Contractors worked with 'Advance Civil Ltd' & TLDC on the 'EUL' subdivision over stages 1, 2 & 3, were Sewer, Stormwater & Water were installed for a total of 105 residential lots.
LAKE CREST LIFESTYLE VILLAGE - WATERMAINS
Location: Kokemea Park - Lake Terrace
E and J Contractors successfully implemented the water reticulation system for the Lake Crest lifestyle village. This involved the welding and installation of 225mm and 180mm PE pipework, conducting pressure testing and chlorination, and carrying out a connection to the TDC network.
BRENTWOOD SUBDIVISION
Location: Nukahau - Brentwood - Taupo
E and J Contractors carried out the sewer, water & several segments of the stormwater through out the development of the Brentwood Subdivision. These works involved working closely with Taupo District Council to connect the subdivision to existing water mains, sewer mains and to provide all residential lots with lateral connections.
DOWNSTREAM DEFENDER - TURANGI
Location: Turangi
E and J Contractors carried out the installation of a downstream defender in Turangi for the Taupo District Council. A downstream defender directs pollutants towards the sump of the chamber, allowing the treated flow to circulate around the inner annulus and continue towards the outlet. This significantly reduces the amount of pollutants entering our water ways.
EUL UNDERPASS
Location: Lake Terrace, Taupo
E and J Contractors collaborated with Matanga Projects to execute the installation of an underpass beneath Lake Terrace in Taupo. The project involved the installation of a total of 40 meters of box culverts, with each box weighing approximately 9.5 tons.
DOWNSTREAM DEFENDER - LAKE TERRACE, TAUPO
Location: Taupo
E and J Contractors carried the installation of a downstream defender on Lake Terrace for Taupo District Council. This defender was installed on the outlet of one of the main stormwater lines that feed in to Lake Taupo. This defender was installed to significantly reduce the amount of pollutants entering Lake Taupo.
Waimahana Papakainga
Location: State Highway 5 - Waimahana Marae
E and J Contractors carried out the sewer, water & stormwater for a 10 dwelling Papakainaga for Sheeran Associates. This involved installing 6x Hynds WWTS & the appropriate disposal fields, all stormwater and soakage trenches and all water mains/laterals to each dwelling.
Napier Road Industrial Park
Location: Napier Road, Taupo
E and J Contractors carried out the installation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure for an industrial subdivision, encompassing sewer, water, and stormwater systems.
The project included the welding, pressure testing, and commissioning of a 355mm council water main. Additionally, E and J Contractors managed the installation, testing, and handover of the sewer mains. To manage stormwater from various catchment areas, the team installed 24 soak holes, ensuring effective stormwater control throughout the subdivision.
7 Oaks Subdivision
Location: Kinloch Taupo
The Seven Oaks development saw E and J Contractors collaborate closely with "Seay's Earthmovers" to install, test, and commission the sewer network. This project encompassed the setup of both gravity-fed and pumped sewer mains, linked to the main sewer line from the newly established pump station by E and J Contractors .
Phoenix Metal man
-Rakaunui Road
Location: Taupo
"E and J Contractors managed the installation of underground utilities at the new industrial yard for Phoenix Metal man in Taupo. This involved close collaboration with project engineers to install Stormwater, Sanitary Sewer, Watermains, and Power ducts. The Stormwater system included a 360 filter & vault setup, while the Sanitary Sewer comprised a 4500-litre septic tank with around 120 meters of sewer pipe. Water supply lines for the site were equipped with a pump, UV filter system, and holding tank.
